Case Study: SMR Automotive

This project allowed me the opportunity to experiment with different lighting technology which fulfilled SMR Automotive’s goal of creating product imagery to showcase their 3D renders.

SMR Automotive is a large-scale wing mirror manufacturer, creating products for worldwide car brands. The marketing team at the factory, based in Portchester, Fareham, approached me to create a diverse range of images ranging from dynamic staff headshots to action on the factory floor. 

The business needed the images for an upcoming board meeting. I was able to provide my photography service to a tight deadline and emphasise my unique visual storytelling to fulfil their needs.

I set up a studio within the site as the products could not be authorised to leave the site. Having the shoot on-location meant that the team at SMR Automotive felt secure and I could arrange shooting days to be at their convenience.
